Pocophone F1/Poco F1 MIUI 12 update should fix notification panel glitch in MIUI 11; Fix for Poco Launcher animations issue in works

Pocophone F1 was a true flagship-killer when it came out in 2018 with Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. It is still considered among the finest Android devices by many, however, users of the Poco F1 have been waiting for the MIUI 12 stable update for some time now.

While the OEM released the MIUI 12 update for Pocophone F1 back in August, it was only meant for Mi Pilot program members. Also, the beta stable ROM cannot be installed manually by those who are not part of the testing program.

Now, it seems that some issues are present in the Poco F1 that are affecting user experience. Pocophone F1 users are facing a glitch in the notification panel of the stable MIUI 11 and a moderator has acknowledged this issue.

The MIUI 11 notification glitch issue was pointed out by a user on the Poco F1 beta testers Telegram group. The group admin, who is also a Mi community moderator, has responded saying that the developers are working on fixing it.

Also, another user pointed out an issue with the Poco Launcher animations. For this, the moderator again stated that the launcher developers are checking it. This means that both issues will be fixed in the Poco F1 MIUI 12 stable update as the device will not get another MIUI 11-based update.

While it is unclear when the MIUI 12 stable update will roll out to Pocohpone F1, it will definitely include many improvements along with the new features. Hopefully, the OEM releases the latest custom skin in the stable version soon.
