Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro MIUI 12 update expected to arrive next week, says company director Test

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro — aka the Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition — released back in 2018 running Android 8.1 Oreo alongside MIUI 10. Since then the device has picked up the Android 9 Pie update and even got the Android 10 update a few months ago.
And prior to the Android 10 update, the device even received the MIUI 11 update late last year.
